On behalf of the County of Santa Clara, I welcome you to the County Executive’s Office.  The County is made up of public servants who are dedicated to providing excellence in service and increasing the quality of life for everyone in our community, especially for those most in need.

The Office of the County Executive is the administrative heart of the County of Santa Clara and is responsible for the coordination of work in all departments, both elective and appointive.  County Administration is working to uphold its commitment to excellence in service by being a safety net service provider, and, at the same time, investing in innovative programs that empower all who live and work here, and spotlight the strengths of our diverse community. That means ensuring everyone has equitable access to housing, proper employment opportunities, and adequate healthcare. There is also a conscious effort to level and increase opportunities for everyone to thrive, regardless of differences in neighborhood, culture, language, or economic standing.
